Can apply would be key words. And doesn't that only apply to season ending injuries suffered in their RSR year? Let's not act like its a crutch to stand upon in this argument.

Let's look at this honestly, if they arent looking to make a jump to the NFL by year five of their college career, they probably shouldn't be in the starting lineup on a team competing for championships.

False. Bynes was UDFA and would have loved to have him past 3 years. Darwin Adams, Phillip Litzenkirchen, were both guys who didn't get drafted and nick contributors. JRosegreen is my favorite example of not working out in nfl due to size.

Going back further the biggest NFL not drafted success was Ben Nowland in 2003. Consensus All SEC 4 year starter who didn't even get drafted

You are arguing guys who don't have real chances at jumping to the nfl shouldn't be starting. I am saying there are plenty of solid role players who aren't going pro/drafted early

Add Emory Blake to the list.

Adams left due to a combo of grades and family and wouldn't have been that high if he stayed another year anyways.

Obviously I want can't miss talent but not all 22 starters are going to be can't miss go pro after 3 or 4 year guys
