As far as attendance figures, I don't understand why there aren't any more people at the tournament. Within the last week I've been offered free tickets to three conference basketball tournaments here in Vegas.
When you see the WAC, WCC, Pac 12, or MWC tournaments here in Vegas, there aren't nearly as many empty seats. The fact that the SEC tournament is in the Georgia Dome makes even more of a case for throwing tickets out of a helicopter and hoping people show up.
