Yea, then they sucked their thumb when they lost the '70 ACC final and quit and wandered the earth for 22 yrs.

It was a little more than that but okay.


All I know is this, 100% without a shadow of a doubt, if SC had been in the SEC back when Pete played for LSU, he probably wouldn't have come close to being the all-time points leader in the NCAA. But I guess its better to be lucky than good for LSU.

That's all I know though. For a fact.

I'm surprised baseball hasn't already followed suit. Especially since the SEC tourny seeds are based off of overall SEC record (except the #2 seed which is kind of dumb)

They did manage to win some NCAA tourney games in the next two years. Have not won a tournament game since.

SC did have one of my fav players of all-time, Alex English
