This is a pretty cool model of a remodeled Commonwealth Stadium...

Kentucky football is set to take another step forward — this time with a state-of-the-art practice facility.

The facility will cost $45 million but will entirely funded by private donations.

The project will include a new two-story structure and two practice fields with an adjoining drill area. The structure will also house administrative offices, locker spaces, equipment rooms, a hydrotherapy room, player locker rooms, lounge facilities, an academic lounge/study area and an entrance lobby with enhanced visitor amenities.

If the Board of Trustees approves the project, it will be submitted to the Council on Postsecondary Education and the Capital Projects and Bond Oversight Committee for authorization at their meetings in February.

The school has also planned $110 million worth of renovations to Commonwealth Stadium for the start of the 2015 season.

Here’s what the proposed project could look like:

A lot

Even more when we do the north end zone. Only outdoor club and suites for it.
