I like and agree with your analysis but you are selling Bama's performance short here. I think Bama beats just about any team in the country that day we played MSU. That team was fired up and that was about as thorough of a beatdown of a BCS conference school as you will ever see. The entire game was a highlight real of game ending hits and big plays on offense.

2010 Alabama was maybe the most talented team top to bottom Saban has had. Unfortunately they believed they could just show up and win every game because they were the defending National Champion.
