I'm not basing it off recruiting because that alone doesn't win you a title. Current roster ties into recruitment though and I'm basing it off of you don't have a qb that has been groomed like McElroy or AJ. That is at least one valid argument compared to y'all saying "the team was spoiled and wasn't motivated by anything". That's blind homerism. Bama was expected to have a show down with fsu in the title game up until the clocks hit zero at jordan hare. You really think that bama team was worse than the 2010 team?

In terms of sheer talent, absolutely, by any measure.

In some ways yes. Basically Bama was untested last year until the end of the season. 2010 was a better team.

I don't know which team was worse but they both had the same sense of entitlement. They just got exposed earlier in 2010 because they had to go into Columbia ranked #1 with a huge target on its back. That was a huge opportunity for Spurrier and he doesn't miss many of those. Bama finally got its shite together against MSU in the bowl game and showed what kind of team it could have been.
