Why are you skirting the question? It's simple. Tell me what team led the entire country in yards per game on offense.
ETA: It's the same team that ran the most plays. 1126 plays in 14 games.
ETA2: Missouri ran the HUNH in 2007. What was their NCAA ranking in total offense?

Tulsa ran more plays than Mizzou in 07. In 07, 13 teams ran >1000 plays....in 08, when the clock change occured, it was only 5 teams that ran more than 1,000 plays for the year.
