And this man already had the #1 offense in the country prior to this clock change?

Doesn't matter when he wrote the book, the clock rule changes in 2008 changed everything. They're taking advantage of a rule. Defensive teams need to take advantage of the "flop". Whatever players were going to be substituted, one of them needs to flop and sit out for a play, which they were going to do anyway. People will argue for a rule change, and it will be changed back to pre-2008 rules.
