I know hes from Athens and was just wondering if any of you guys have ever heard him play? Is he any good?
He and Levi Lowrey, along with a few locals, are performing all weekend at the place I bartend at in the off-season.

I played in Nashville with Fester back in March of 2001 for the same record producer that worked with Confederate Railroad back in the nineties. Dude is a helluva songwriter. His voice was meh back then, not sure if he has gotten any better. That is why he took me along. I sang two of his songs. No shite.

yeah just listened to "Jacksonville"...he is still not a great singer...but great at throwing lyrics together...cool to drink with too...
Short story...UGA/TENN game in 2000...I watched at his house in Tifton as we went to ABAC together...we were all so excited after the win we were going to drive to Athens that very night....FROM TIFTON...to celebrate

Fester was one of my very good friends when we were kids. He is a really nice guy and fun to hang out with!
