Takes a lot of the drama out of it but I would be all for an early signing period. Would take the stress and pressure off of kids that know where they want to go and keep other coaches from consistently blowing them up.

It depends on when the early signing period is...but could hurt the SEC. All SEC teams seem to get a few recruits from smaller schools as their senior years progress. If that kid was already signed with someone else, it would be talent lost.
