Ok, I'm confused. I'm trying to determine "digital basic" vs. "expanded basic"

I could have sworn that, in Washington, I'd need the Sports Tier.

I posted it above. Digital Starter is about halfway down this page. I can't tell you what channels it has exactly because it rejects my zip code but if you can get Xfinity then you should be able to see

"expanded basic"

I think expanded basic is more like what hotels and such use where you only get like 30 channels or so.

CGSC - this Chronicle article seems to contradict what SBD posted. Not sure who to believe as SBD may have jumped the gun or misunderstood or maybe the Chronicle did

quote:

Comcast said SEC Network will be available beginning with its digital starter package in SEC states, including Texas, and on digital preferred and higher in areas outside the 11 states with SEC schools. Since many out-of-market sprots networks are relegated to special sports packages, the wider distribution patterns for SEC Network will provide significantly higher revenue for the conference, its schools and ESPN.

I guess I'd ask before signing up
