The Pac has 100% ownership. It's a different model for sure so things are naturally a little rough coming out of the gate. Not at all saying their networks won't work, simply pointing out the obvious - the Pac schools on average have smaller fan bases than the B1G or SEC schools.

In the new world, everyone is attempting to monetize their fanbases in new ways. But this isn't some communistic endeavor. Those with the big fanbases will always make the most. The race to the top is between the B1G and SEC imo

* Note this year's tv ratings

Oh and btw, in an a la carte model, Disney products apparently must be bought all or none. So every single person that goes that route will be paying for SECN. I really think it's positioned us better than the BTN (or PACN) by far by hitching ourselves to ESPN.

I know I've said it in other threads but Pac 12 Net would probably be on DTV if it wasn't 6 regional networks plus a national feed.

Almost all the football games are simulcast on the national feed so why would DTV care about a bunch of other regional sports nets that don't have anything past a few college basketball games to offer?
