Unlike the slow northern schools we've been skull fricking recently, Auburn ran into a team that actually had the talent to matchup.

I blame Oregon and OSU for allowing bama to backdoor their way into the games after two NOV home defeats.

You didn't get the question.

FSU...only team that could be us on merit alone and not weather assistance.

Like bammer would have beat FSU to "keep the streak alive" I seem to recall them laying an egg against Oklahoma.
If you think ending some streak keeps AU fans up at night, think again. Nothing - and I mean nothing - is going to lessen the joy of embarrassing bammer (and having the play that keeps on embarrassing them every time you turn around), winning the SEC, and going to the championship game - when no one even expected us to having a winning season.
Keep trying though if it helps you sleep better.

I wonder if opposing fans really feel like it bothers Auburn fans when they are like "teh omgz you broke the SEC streak"
It's kind of ridiculous considering that by the time we won 8 games this last year all expectations even the most optimistic fan had were exceeded, so the fact that we won 12 and won the SEC Championship (tying the biggest turnaround in history) pretty much meant we could have lost the national championship game by 80 points and this season would have gone down as a raving success by any metric. Also you have to consider that the fans making that comment are the ones responsible for Auburn being there in the first place because they lost to the team they are trying to dig on, or in the case of LSU failed to take care of business when they needed to against other teams to keep Auburn out of Atlanta.
There's also like a 70% chance that the people making that dig predicted Auburn would lose the national title by a large amount of points, because we were pretty heavy underdogs everywhere including this board, and Auburn hung in there and very nearly beat almighty FSU, just adding another layer to the retardation that is that particular troll.

I didn't realize you could speak for every auburn fan in the world

You weren't there for the vote?

FSU I think. UA was easily beaten by Sooners, Mizzou and SCar probably wouldn't have fared better against Seminoles. Congrats to Jimbo.

Well, give us a link to where an AU fan is showing embarrassment about our season. Not a message board poser, but a true AU fan.

I laugh at teams talking about Auburn breaking the streak when their teams did nothing to contribute to the streak in the first place. Arkansas and Georgia are a perfect example. How many games did those teams win to keep the streak alive? Oh yeah, zero

Actually he was nominated to "speaker of truths" by the alumni association, so yes he does

All you have to do is win a national championship for once in my lifetime and everything will be a-okay.

This. I think FSU would have beaten Bama by 3 touchdowns by their showing in their bowl game.
