Ga is a recruiting hotbed for baseball. Maybe the culture is to go pro there. Georgia fans can answer but seems like they have more players going to A ball instead of college.

They also probably lose some recruiting battles to Ga Tech.

You're not wrong. The best guys out of the East Cobb program that don't go pro, typically go to GT or Clemson over UGA. We'd get our share but not as many as we should. That's about to change, though. We've hired an East Cobb guy to our staff so that should help with the pipeline in to Athens.
