Do you approve of Saban offering 8th graders?
The kids life won't change because he committed to LSU
He lives in a football family. He's going to get pushed just as hard, and he's probably going to enjoy it just as hard

The problem is the attention with the media and twitter etc. that wasn't there before. His actions will be scrutinized more.
Another problem is teaching your son to be a man of his word and to not make promises he can't keep. For all we know, Les Miles and staff could be gone by then and he may not like the new staff. So many things could happen that he has no control over. He can decommit whenever, but is that teaching him the meaning of the word commitment?
Read my previous post. I said offering eighth graders is stupid. Accepting their commitment is retarded.
