BB is an ok coach, but he is also a loud arrogant braggart who was pretty universally disliked in the big ten by about everyone aside from Wisconsin fans.
This pattern of behavior should be a surprise to no one. The problem is that unlike at Wisconsin where he inherited a well oiled machine, Bert isn't going to have time to turn things around and get wins to make up for his foolish behavior.
The fact that assistant coaches are jumping like rats from a sinking ship should say something. And I happen to know that his assistants actually really like the guy. But the writing is on the wall.

One took a HC job
One was encourage to look elsewhere
One didn't have anywhere to go, luckly he had a friend in the Big 10

Petrino's downfall + Johnelle + Bert. Tough to beat that.
