From what I've heard, Sig Ep hasn't had good standing with their nationals recently for some reason I am unaware. I guess the hazing is the straw that broke the camals back.

Its an up and down relationship. We had won the chapter home of the year reward like 2 out of the past 6 years and were runner up for the equivalent of best chapter in 2011. Sig Ep nationally embraces a process called "Balanced Man", in which you essentially pledge for 3 years and all members are required to do community service etc.. State, Auburn, Texas, and Oklahoma were essentially the only traditional chapters left and we are slowly being pushed to convert. They get full charter status back in 3 years, so it isn't the end of the world, but that doesn't make it not bullshite.
