Georgia could surprise people, our coach actually recruits and it wasn't that long ago we were in the CWS

Loved y'all's hire. If Georgia can keep a lot of those guys instate and from going to Tech, they'll be a force to be reckoned with for years. Also will need to update those facilities though but that's just a matter of time.

I think he could definitely be good in the future -- but he doesn't yet have a signing class of his own on campus yet. I think you are 2 years away from really being in your rightful place when it comes to baseball...

When things go really bad and a coach goes into cruise control in baseball, rebuilds take longer given the early signing period and how far in advance these kids are generally recruited now. IMO you are facing a very similar situation replacing Perno that we faced when replacing Polk. Took us 3 years to become even semi-relevant again -- and 5 years to consider ourselves "fully rebuilt". Not that it should take that long at UGA -- a school with no excuse to be anything other than one of the 4-5 elite baseball schools in the country on local talent alone...
