But the stadium is in Arlington there, so you are going to be fighting traffic to and from. Unless you choose to get a hotel in Arlington, and if you do that you should just watch the game on TV.

Reliant is closer to the "real city", and is easier to access via public transit. I just feel like Dallas is a safer and classier city in a lot of ways, though. Its been several years since I did anything in Houston other than a quick business trip, though.

This. As someone who has lived in both cities and attended games at both stadiums, the drive to arlington just isn't worth it. Plus you'll actually have a chance to beat LSU.
