That kids scholly was never yanked. Just like Philon, he was asked to greyshirt. He didn't want to do that so he chose to accept a scholarship from kentucky

He couldn't play for a year anyway, because of his injury, so he could have come into the program with an opportunity to play from the start. The kid considered it, but declined the offer.
