I'm with chatta. I mean I thought it was basic procedure to talk to any potential incoming transfer's former coach to get an idea about character, work ethic, etc... Maybe we talked to his Juco coach, but why not talk to both in order to get a comprehensive picture? Doesn't appear we were very thorough in this case for some reason.
ETA: I remember reading that CNS talked to Dooley about Aaron Douglas before bringing him in from juco

just watched D. Harris junior year highlights seems 2 have good vision n is a big play waiting 2 happen. hopefully Nick saban trust these young guys to play in big games. our best athletes r benchwarmers
