The Alabama staff is on the road visiting prospects on Thursday. OL coach Mario Cristobal is in the Birmingham area checking on five-star DT Daron Payne at Shades Valley and running back Nick Gibson at Pinson Valley. Defensive coordinator Kirby Smart was in Montgomery, and stopped by Carver HS to offer the state's top 2016 prospect, Lyndell Wilson. Smart also was by Montgomery Academy to check on safety Joshua Thomas. Alabama outside linebackers coach Lance Thompson is on the Gulf today and at Niceville (Fla.) to check on Top247 2016 prospects, WR Eli Stove and safety, Romeo Finley.
