Kiffin didn't like TEs on roster, asked Saban to pursue
They brought him in and all met him and made a decision that they felt like they could control him and he needed and wanted a second chance.
Saban has experience cleansing the whole program of at least 1 guy who makes every player ever kicked off UGA's teams like a choir boy with Jimmy "Scarface of Ttown" Johns
Staff felt like he could handle a guy with a couple baggies and some residue of a drug pretty close to seeing possible nation wide legalization
Jimmy was flippin and stackin flying birds all over Campus
