re: First game you attended involving your team

First game of the 1975 football season, A&M hosting Ole Miss at Kyle Field. Aggies won 7-0. I stood in the upper deck (there were only 2 decks then) with the students, and got fiberglass splinters in my jeans when I sat down at halftime (the bleachers were fiberglass, and all the standing had worn the finish off, so that you'd get splinters if you were on a particularly worn seat). I was just about to turn 9.
