Several schools have no such luck

Vols have a 1,000 per seat "donation" for good lower seats to see the Lady Vols
Cats have "donations" by sport and even volleyball has a "donation"

Yearly donations are also typically required for season tix at Neyland. They did waive the donation this year due to economy (without looking it up, so keep in mind I may be wrong on the details, I think it was something like if you'd donated in the past you didn't have to this year). Actually, the more I think about it I think the extra donation was waived for those who'd already donated for season tix if they wanted to buy another set of season tix to go with it.
