Actaully, Bama had a repeating three-year pattern of a double-digit winning season, followed by a losing season, followed by mediocre season, that went on for over a decade:

1996: 10-3
1997: 4-7
1998: 7-5
1999: 10-3
2000: 3-8
2001: 7-5
2002: 10-3
2003: 4-9
2004: 6-6
2005: 10-2*
2006: 6-7*
2007: 7-6*
2008: 12-2

Don't think you can establish a "pattern" with what AU has done recently. Unless you are claiming we will follow up 12-2 in '13 with 8-5 in '14 and a losing season in '15.

(The * denotes that these were on-field records; due to repeated NCAA violations, the offical records for those three seasons are 0-2, 2-7, and 2-6 respectively).
