Anything has to be an upgrade from nuss.

He lost the games for them the last few years IMO.

Nuss loved to keep forcing things that weren't working and ignore those that were.

I don't know about that. In their two losses, they had issues all over. They had over 1000 yards of offense against Auburn and OU and scored 28 and 31. Against Auburn, they missed three field goals (and the prayer field goal as well which had the game winning return). Putting up almost 500 yards and 28 points on the road with no turnovers should equal a win for Bama, but their D couldn't stop Auburn when they needed to most. Auburn ran all over them for almost 300 yards. Also, their special teams blew it in every way.

Against OU, their offense killed themselves with turnovers. But still, OU had 31 points at half. Bama's D got schooled in the first half. OU's QB had 3 passing TDs at half and their offense had 265 yards. When a QB finishes 32-44 for 348 and 4 TDs, you have more problems than just your offense.

Also, they won against aTm, but it wasn't because their D gave up 42 and over 600 yards. So Bama had some issues on both sides of the ball.
