effectively killed off with Texas A&M's entry into the Division?
Enter a program in an already top heavy conference that normally recruits better than these 2.

Sure, Ole Miss came damn close in '03.MSU made the game in 1998 after what was later discovered to be a coach with serious recruiting ethical issues combined with a freak year in which AU, LSU, and Bama were all in 'down' states.

Now, these 2 schools are faced with an additional hurdle to clear to win the SEC-West.

Despite no conference title, I leave Arkansas out of this for given they've proved themselves with a BCS Bowl Berth as well as 3 SECCG Appearances.

Texas A&M has no effect on their chances because they won't ever win the division because they couldn't do better than 3rd or 4th with their goat. All 3 schools have a chance to catch the West on a down/probation year And possibly win, but that chance is very small.
