From what I am being told, Saban and Nuss had a very frank conversation about Saban's expectations for the offense next year with a young, inexperienced QB coming in. Saban wanted a run heavy offense centered around Henry and Yeldon that could play ball control and keep his D off the field. Nuss wanted to stay balanced and audition for a HC job. This opportunity came up at UM that offered Nuss a big raise and Saban told him he had his blessing to take it. Probably best for both sides that Nuss left.

Ditto for us, depending on Jennings progress.
