2003 (Watkins): 6-1 (A&M-CC)
2004 (Gillispie): 9-0
2005 (Gillispie): 10-0
2006 (Gillispie): 11-0
2007 (Turgeon): 14-0
2008 (Turgeon): 9-0
2009 (Turgeon): 8-0
2010 (Turgeon): 8-0
2011 (Kennedy): 7-1 (Rice)
2012 (Kennedy): 7-1 (Southern)

Edit: I went ahead and included the "juggernauts" that Watkins and Kennedy lost to in nonconference to remove any potential excuses from sympathizers.

So I take it you have changed your mind and think we should keep Kennedy now, right?

Our program is a dumpster fire, Kennedy deserves to be fired, etc. etc.....BUT

Southern made the Big Dance and nearly toppled No. 1. seed Gonzaga.

Though A&M should have beaten them at home, the loss to Southern is not nearly as embarrassing in hindsight.

Southern only made the dance because they won their conference tournament. They were no threat to steal an at-large berth. Also, they were, by far, the worst RPI team that A&M lost to last season.

Well, yeah. Southern plays in the SWAC. Most of the smaller conferences will never receive an at-large bid. The conference champions of the 31 or so conferences receive an automatic bid. There's only so many at-large bids to go around, with most of the bids going to stacked conferences like the ACC or Big 10.

Did you watch the Southern-Gonzaga game? Southern played out of their minds and nearly made history. There's no reason not to give Southern props for how they ended their season.
