I understand, but do you really think Bama went into the Sugar bowl as they did going into the IB. The #1 team going against their biggest rival who was #4, and playing for a chance to win a third BCSNC? Sadly for Bama I honestly don't think so.

Also, to Oklahoma's credit they came out with a game plan that was far different than what they had played prior. Totally had Bama on their heels. The QB played a game that surprised even those who watched him all year.

Your schedule definitely plays a part in gauging how good your team may be, but it isn't everything.
