A few telling stats about the game

Oklahoma scored points on 5 straight possesions (4 TD's and 1 FG).
The last time a team scored on 5 consecutive possesions against Alabama was @ UGA in 2003. That was a probation Alabama team that went 4-9.
The most points given up in the 1st half under Nick Saban has been 21, which has happened twice (Utah in 08, South Carolina in 10, both losses).
Tonight Oklahoma put up 31 in the first half.
All in all, the worst first half Alabama has had in probably a decade.
Players and the coaches should be majorly embarassed over this turd.

Every aspect of the team did their share to lose he game.
Defense played awful.
Offense played awful. (turnovers and bad o-line play)
Special teams played awful (missed FG, punt return TD called back on bonehead penalty)
Coaches coached awful.
Outside of Derrick Henry you can blame any player or coach and I'd agree.

Ya but give Oklahoma credit. They took advantage of turnovers, and played a great game overall. They didn't make many mistakes and played sound football. Their coaches had a good gameplan and they executed it very well. Well deserved win.

Oh absolutely, OU played a great game and deserved to win.
Their coaches had a great gameplan and they made far fewer major errors.

I am sure Bama beat themselves again, and it had nothing to do with the play of the opposing team.

OU played great and deserved to win, no argument there.
Sometimes winning is not making as many self inflicted mistakes and Alabama failed miserably at that.
Us playing awful does not mean OU didn't play good.
We played awful, they played good. They won. That's usually how it goes.

Brilliant.
I've never been able to figure out if that guy is for real or not. Either way these are entertaining.

Shows SEC joke.
Nobody coiuld score on 5 possessions?
If you watch the SEC...from 2001 to 2012...it's all about BBQB at QB.
And busts in the NFL.
Why anyone ever thoguth LSU could beat a sophisticated offense like USC in 2003...
After Saban has been exposed against spread offenses...and creativity in beyond me.
Saban would have plotzed against USC just like tonight.
Saban and the SEC can't deal witht the spread and utilizing all players on offense as weapons...
Tonight was nice because it opened up LSU fans to the realtiy that was 2003.
You were great in your high school offense conference and your defense looked great...against high school quarterbacks.
But going against Heisman Leinart and future Heisman Bush and Mike Williams and run AND PASS...OMG!
PASS in the old SEC!!!!!!! Crazy talk..
Shite, LSU would have crapped their pants!
SEC has had 10 years since and they still can't stop it.
USC was doing before what everyone is doing now.

Yeah my point is fans like you sometimes think the bad play was their teams own doing. They choose to overlook the play of the opposing team that may have forced the errors. It is difficult to accept their team was outplayed either by better technique, better game plan, better talent, etc., or the combination of those elements.
You know an excuse for the loss. You seem to think it is all self inflicted errors. Which is the reason for my original response.

Some errors are self inflicted, some errors are, some aren't.
For example, Yeldon's fumble - totally a self inflicted error OU had almost nothing to do with.
The strip on a AJ at the end? A turnover totally forced by OU.
It's hard enough to win without helping the other team, and almost impossible to do so when you help them a lot.
It's pretty clear Alabama made way more self inflicted errors than OU in that game.
but that's part of football.
A part of being good is not being bad. That's why OU deserved to win. If you play bad you deserve to lose.

Yeah the Manning brothers, Stafford, and Newton were massive busts.

Settle down kid you have been a little rustled all evening. Take a break and come back tomorrow. Life goes on after football losses.

they were obviously the better team IMO
Alabama has good leadership and a culture of winning and that almost got them back into the game but they were beaten by a team that was finally healthy, had something to prove, and simply played better than their opponent.
Big game for Big Game Bob - his moniker is no longer unintentionally ironic

I'm not a kid, but you are an idiot. You made a stupid response and I called you out. Maybe you need a break.
