Yeah, well, I'd have to disagree with that. Once you start doing that then all you are doing is lowering the bar, lowering the standards, and once that happens stuff always falls apart.

We've lowered the standards enough in our school systems already ... practically destroyed our primary school system to where we're what, 24th in the world now or something like that?

No way should we want the college game to become nothing but about the entertainment value. When that happens then it's game over.

Yes I know they're "student athletes" but I've went to school with these students, they're far from that.
