Here's an interesting twist on this academic fraud at unc.

quote:

DURHAM, N.C. — The Student Athletes Human Rights Project filed a complaint Friday with the federal Office for Civil Rights alleging the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill discriminated against male athletes, especially black, male athletes, in assigning more of them to so-called 'paper classes.' In directing athletes to those classes, the complaint says, the university deprived them of the same quality education available to other student-athletes.

"The data suggests black student-athletes are disproportionately enrolled in paper courses when compared to white student-athletes," the group wrote in its complaint to the United States Department of Education.

The group backed up the complaint with data from reports both internal and external as the university looks into allegations that courses in the Department of African and Afro-American Studies catered to student athletes, requiring only a paper and no classroom time. An inquiry conducted by former Gov. Jim Martin in 2012 found problems in more than 200 courses dating to at least 1997, including forged signatures on grade rolls, unauthorized grade changes and poor oversight.

You'd think Sportscenter would be covering this instead of a gay basketball player at UMass

I have yet to hear anything about his from the 4 letter network.

Prepare for UNC to eat itself as it tries to prove how non-racist it is.

And for the record, I think it's ludicrous to claim that this is a result of racism. No, it is because UNC recruited kids who couldn't perform at college level
