And it turns out that Alabama was the best team in the country that year. The reason it haunts y'all to this day is because you knew the sunday after the game that you couldn't beat bama again, and that reared it's head when oklahoma state lost. The begging and pleading began about how bama didn't deserve to be there because everyone knew they would whip that arse in a rematch.

LSU fans wanted the easy way out and they didn't get it. Here we are two years later and some of you still haven't gotten over it and never will
