I posted on the CC board a week ago that I thought Mark Dantonio and Chip Kelly was one of the top three candidates to Texas and got blasted for it.
However I don't think Texas wants Spurrier due to his age. Dantonio 57>68 Spurrier

I don't think it's likely, but I'd suggested this to friends awhile back.
Spurrier is old, but he's doing the best coaching of his life right now. If he could give Texas five good years, it'd be an incredible way to close out his show.
