True but we cherry pick their area too. Well, I don't know if Louisiana does but TN goes in-state, South, and then cherry picks the Midwest and East Coast due to location. I'd say back then ND had a stronger pitch for La. players than it does now. They could've sold them on faith and a strong program but LSU offers that now and in a better conference. Even if LSU played them regularly again I can't see ND picking off anymore than it already does.
