I understand that and probably should have worded my answer better. Whenever we have had a d lineman commit, they always talk about Coach Price and how instrumental he was in getting them to commit to A&M. He may not start out as the lead recruiter, but he is absolutely involved in the recruiting process of any d lineman and has been crucial in every one of our commitments at the position.

they do both. They recruit and build relationships in an area. They use their contacts to find players and get in the door once they do. They get the kid interested and then the position coach takes over. Position coaches then close.
