I do as well. We've been after him pretty hard. A commitment from him would also bump our 247 Team Ranking from 28th to 23rd.
With a few other guys as well, it's completely possible to end up with a Top 20 Recruiting Class this year, even with the limited numbers.

Oh yeah, and Chris Lammons. With Ahmad (who was the #3 CB) transferring, the entire 2 Deep at CB is up for grabs next season. It's not just some UGA spin where they tell every recruit that they are going to start right away if they come there, this is a real shot.

Need to land sawyer and 2/3 in smith green and lammons IMO. Those positions are gonna be really thin next year and need some freshmen to come in and contribute right away

I agree, but honestly we might take all 3 of the DB's if they committed. With Ahmad leaving, it's so wide open we are better off having as many options as possible.

Well, we got Sawyer, this class is going to fall into place nicely. After reading the Shrine Bowl reports, I'm getting convinced Wideman is going to flip.

Grades were a concern when the semester started. When the coaches did one of their last visits up there, it was reported to them that he was doing everything needed to qualify. He's still going to need the right measurement of the sliding scale b/w test score an grades, but his school official feels confident that he can do it.
Wideman is also in the same boat and working towards qualifying.
