Wouldn't you say a team that shows it's capable to recruit elite talent and beat top 10 teams is on the brink? It shows we're capable. We just have to find someone to sustain it. I think Freeze can sustain recruiting success.

you've been on the "brink" several times, but Ole Miss has never done it with any consistency. Having one good recruiting class doesn't show me Ole Miss is capable of sustaining that. And they still have only had one 10 win season since 1962. Maybe you're more optimistic than I am, but until Ole Miss shows it can do it, I'll reserve any expectations they can. Ole Miss had a golden opportunity to win 10 games this year after beating LSU, but in typical Ole Miss fashion, they lost their last two games of the season to finish 7-5. Like i said earlier ITT, Ole Miss hasn't beaten LSU, Alabama, and Auburn in the same season I think ever. Even in their undefeated season in 1962, the didn't play Auburn or Alabama
