They're really good statistically. They do play in a weak Big1G, so just like last year with Mich's stats and Neb's the year before, they might be a little inflated. However, they're ranked so high in so many categories, I have to believe they're pretty good and well coached.

National Ranks
18th Total Offense
8th Rushing Offense (two 1300+ yard rushers)
88th Passing Offense
48th Passing Efficiency
25th Scoring Offense
6th Total Defense
6th Rushing Defense
12 Passing Defense
6th Scoring Defense
4th 3rd Down Conv %
2nd Time of Possession.
They are statistically better than USC in almost all the categories. Our guys better be ready, b/c this is a team that could easily beat us.

Seems pretty simple to me. Stop the run. Beat Wisconsin.

Their safety, Tanner McEvoy, also has our playbook.

I don't think they'll be able to stop our offense. If we can get an early lead and force them to abandon the run, game over.

This is not a good matchup for us.

The key is going to be putting them in passing situations, I agree. I just don't know if we're going to be able to do that all the time.
Their OL is big, avg'ing around 6'5" 320 lbs and they're all upper classmen. They run the Power I as their base. We're going to need rotate the DL to keep them fresh.

I don't think someone who was riding the bench here and is now playing backup safety over there has some type of unparalleled grasp on our playbook that will give them any significant advantage.

I meant the physical playbook. He had a copy, and he still might. He'll be able to sit in with his team and break down what we like to do, based on the coaching we gave him when he was here.

I have no reservation that Quarles is going to go at this 100%.

I can only hope that when a kid decides to transfer any and all coaching staffs would make sure that the kid didn't walk away with the plays.
