He happens to be wrong about this year, but in 11 and 12 the bottom half of the league was GARBAGE.
I think the "SEC is a grind week to week" thing is absolutely true this year, but its the first time in a while that it's been true.
In 12 the top 6 didn't lose a single game to the other 8, and in 11 the 5 teams that were ranked to end the year lost a total of 1 to the other 7.
In both years that collection of teams lost more OOC than they did to the bottom of the league.
