National Championship appearance in year 1? Yeah, if Auburn fans think they'll get there with any frequency, one, they are discounting the luck they had this year(just like gumps the last couple seasons), two, they are discounting the SEC Gauntlet, and, three, they are just being like any other fan base.

On paper we should be better next year than this, but, even if we are better, we could still lose more games. That is just part of cfb, especially in this conference and this division.
Might as well go ahead and win it this year since we are there and all.
