Obviously a Mizzou fan, but also an alum and tuition payer (son)> happy we are repairing the damange done in Seaon 1 to out reputation.
I am damn glad to be out of the dumpster fire Big Buckle conference, and in the #1 S E fricking C and banging heads for the Championship.
We win Saturday, and we will damn sure represent in the MNC. We lose and I will wake up Sunday and pull for Aubie to win #8 against hopefully FSU.
BTW, Go Sparty...

Regional pride, it is easier to associate myself with another Southern state
Outside of the rant, many would consider Arky as one of those strange 'half southern' but not quite southern states like Texas and Mizzou have esp. the blended nature and a lot of your history. The South Western flavor, distinct from the rest of the South is definitely there.
I mean hell you share ginormous borders with Mizzou and Oklahoma. Yet dog Mizzou? Just sayin'
It's cool to have a regional affiliation due to a quirk of SEC divisional placements (Aubie in the SEC West versus Mizzou in the East) and all but I can't see a real, historic, regional division or regional affiliation given your location and history beyond those border areas more tradition southern states.
Given ya hell I know but I honestly don't understand the regional claim.
