Sawyer, Scott, Wideman, Green, Smith, Prince, and Samuel...would be great class in lieu of next years monster class we are setting up for

No way we're signing all of that. That would put us at 21 when we really only have enough room for 18 or 19 without some renigging.

I figure we'll get one of Smith/Green, Scott (maybe... seems to wondering), Sawyer and/or Wideman and Samuel. Prince is still a pipe dream that I don't see coming true. The likelihood of getting both Smith and Green seems iffy given our lack of spots. If we miss on Scott then that may up that a bit.

IMO, you should put this in the 2014 Recruiting thread, but it's your world, do what you want.

IF that actually happened (getting all the prospects you mentioned), I would flip my shite.

The Prince situation baffles the frick out of me. We have this on/off again relationship with him, and there's no real reason I can think of for him to always have us so high up on his list, but he does. He even calls us out when we haven't contacted him in a while, but as soon as we do, BAM, we're right back in the lead group for his 40+offers. I think it's a pipe-dream that he comes here though, from what I've read it's a MD/FSU battle. However, if FSU takes all 3 of those JUCO OL, it might open a door for us, although that would mean we lose Kareem Are.

Sawyer is hard to read, but I think he comes to USC. Aub is going after Williams, UGA is going after Carter and we are the ones most heavily recruiting Sawyer.

Scott is coming to USC, I'm 99% on that.

Wideman, IDK, does he qualify for either school is the question. I would love to have him at Carolina, he could play DE or DT like Ingram, he could play SDE really early. I know we're trending hard on the 247 predictions, but I'm still only about 40% that he suits up here in the fall.

Green, I'm not buying the UGA shenanigans. His HC in HS is pro-UGA, but if left up to Green, he would still be committed. I think he chooses SC again, our depth chart is just to appealing. The UGA coaches are telling him that he'll come in and start, when they already have FR and Soph's starting at CB on their 2Deep this year. USC doesn't have to play that game, we can show him how Hampton already declared, Legree graduates and we only really used Ahmad Christian last year as a backup CB. Our 2 Deep is TRULY WIDE OPEN for CB. I have green at 70% confidence going to Carolina

Samuel will be a Gamecock, I'm 99% on that as well.

I hope you're right. Signing Day is going to be here before we know it ... what, 60 days or so?

Eta: If we really do get Scott then it's official, we have become a solid SEC program that reloads every year.

If we get Wideman to boot, to go with Abu Lamin, then we are really reloading.

if we get Sawyer and Green ... then katybarthedoor, we've arrived.

Of the top targets?

Sawyer - 100%
Smith - 100%
Samuel - 100%
Scott - 90% (feels weird)
Wideman - 80%
Green - 50%
Are - 40%
Prince - 10%
Lammons - 10%

New offer out to 2014 DE Kevin Bronson. He's scheduled an OV already.

I think Ra'Shaun Croney is our DB insurance policy.

I just mean for right now, where I think each kid is at, not where they'll be on signing day. As of today, according to all I've read, DJ Smith wants to be a Gamecock.

Yeah, as of today evidently there have been some repercussions from the 5 in a row win Saturday night .... seems Smith is suddenly leaning our way.

Yep, when Corey Fravel, a clem5on 247 insider, switched his pick from clem5on to USC this week, I think it was extremely telling of what is about to happen.

I've read at several locations that Clemson has been telling Smith that they are full at his position, which would be a bit hard to believe. I mean, they do have depth at DB and had a couple of young CBs that were expected to contribute this season but were injured all year, but a prospect as talented as Smith that has interest in you, you rarely turn away. If what I read is true.

But Smith should be able to see with his own eyes that we'll be a bit thin at CB next season. We have Christian and McWilliams as odds-on favorites to earn starting jobs next season but nothing has been carved into stone...

That was some guy having a lot of fun. Miller's dad doesn't have that radio job anymore and had been "poking his head around the program" more. So that created a rumor that Miller would flip. However, JC confirmed that was all hogwash and we aren't looking at Miller. He's better suited for the 3-4 anyways as an OLB.

That's BS and those taters are just trying to save face. They just offered a 3 star DB, ranked 120th Nationally for his position named Juwan Dowels. SC takes the recruits they want.
