That's not really unique to the Iron Bowl, though.

The Texas A&M/texas rivalry is literally on hold because of the strife between the schools (something AU/Bama had happen, as well), and it divides families all over the state.

Michigan/ohio is HUGE. I don't think folks in the southeast appreciate that.
