Moot point if Kelley plays, but no one has discussed the fact this game is on the road.

Ok if your backup did great against LSU and Ole Miss, but both of those game were at BDS. Going to be different for backup in a hostile environment. Especially on 3rd down.

up 7-3 in the second quarter, tied 17-17 in the third. obviously the fumble by LSU in the first quarter was a big issue as well (should have been up at least 14-3 in the second quarter)

Having said that, obviously Bama dominated the second half and IMO that was on the strength of their line play. Which is to say even if LSU's starters competed equally or better at the start of the game the superior depth or conditioning/desire of the Tide beat up LSU in the second half.
