I have to blame our offense for this last game.
As horrendous as our D is, they did hold lsu to 34 (would likely have been 41 if LSU was playing for keeps on their last drive).
Given that the offense is averaging 40+ coming into the game, that should have been enough to give us a fighting chance.

They did have a spy on Manziel. Our total lack of any kind of running game killed us. A one deminsional team will get killed in this league no matter how talented. LSU has the personnel and the scheme to shut down speed offenses. The blame for this one sits squarely on the offense and offensive coaching staff.

I was referring to the season as a whole, not just the lsu game. For that game it's on jff and the offense. They were dreadful. That was the first game regardless of what our defense did the offense wasn't going to allow us to win.
