So, with the possibility/probability of us being down to our 3rd string QB for the Egg Bowl I decided to look into this kid. I realize that the SEC West is a little bit different than high school, but I was very impressed with this kid when I watched his highlight video. Strong runner with a pretty good arm. That doesn't answer the question of him being ready to perform on a national stage. Thoughts?

Wilson dropped a well thrown TD pass during the Alabama game. There were many other catchable balls in the last couple games by Williams.. He played hard against Bama and won the frickin Arky game finishing what Russell started..

I ain't even scared

I firmly believe the #14 jersey strikes fear in every Black Bear's heart to this day.

To think Dak and especially TR will not try their damnedest to get into this game y'all are crazy.

A. If Dak has nerve damage he is 100% not playing.
B. If Tyler Russell separated his throwing shoulder (which is what I've been told), he is 100% not playing
C. Nobody said that either one of them wouldn't try their hardest to be on that field, but nobody in the country could possibly perform with those type of injuries. With Tyler you have to consider the short turn around from Saturday to Thursday.

I've seen this a few times but I'm not sure who it's in reference too.

I feel like damian will run the same offense that dak would and that gives us the best chance to win IMO

Damian adds the run element that russell does not have and that in itself completely changes the game and how OM has to prepare and play for our offense

Yeah I think I would rather have damian in, just cuz it's the only way Dan might call a good game.

He has the strongest arm of the 3 QBs.

Depth chart has Williams listed as #1 and Sam Cowart as the back-up..

My only comment to that is if DW goes down, I hope we put Jameon back there before Cowart.

Why not? We are running a lot of standard Wing T plays with a shotgun snap. All we need to do is add the blocking back in the backfield, and we are golden.

Damien's throws look effortless, plus he can run. With more PT he might be a great fit for our offense, but I have no confidence in our staff to use him correctly.
