Gregg- read a freakin message board for a couple minutes, You can even read this one, and that'll give you all the argument that you need for the case of Firing Mullen.

You are blinded by the spin control that constantly takes place in that administration and the truth is outside, here in the real world.

I could spell out the entire argument but I'm lazy and I know you won't read this anyway, but the argument is here on this board if you want to read and the evidence is substantial. The main points being play calling and personnel choices, recruiting, and overall expectation level.

I'm happy somebody is actually standing up for MSU instead of shitting on it.
It hasn't been any spin. That's the problem and why the national media has took a huge dump on MSU.

I don't care to hear sunshine pumping. But the bashing is getting old. To many rather us lose to Ole Miss just to say I told you so.

If he gets to 6-6 and goes to the 4th straight bowl game. He will do something no coach has ever done at MSU.

These things are not black and white. You can root for the team to win, and STILL think you can do better.

....Well I just read the Barrett Sallee article and it is a pile of shite. He cited no reasons specifically why Mullen shouldn't be kept around.

So I am glad too that Ellis defended our university. And I'm not saying I wouldn't want Mullen to stay if we pull off the unlikely and beat OM and go to the liberty bowl.

We all predicted 4,5,6 wins for the season, and most of us said that if we got to 6 wins that we'd be content...so I'll stand behind that.

Again, that article was really shitty, typical bleacher report garbage..but Ellis shouldn't be having it out on twitter with these fools.

I can agree to that. Maybe he could have went about it another way. Just asked him more about article instead of blasting him on twitter. Ha.

I'm ready to win a game we shouldn't. Don't get me wrong about questioning Mullen play calling

I see people say don't let MSU history be a crutch. We need to win now..
With MSU history they are going to need a bunch of 6-8 win season and bowl games appearances with an occasionally 9-10 to get this thing going.

My opinion but this isn't a quick fix.

This is not a justification for Mullen. Jackie would have made 5 straight from 96-00 by today's standards...

If he goes 6-6, I agree we've got to keep him -- and I'm pulling hard for us in the Egg Bowl.

Reality is -- to this point -- he's been very slightly above MSU's historical averages. I think MSU fans are just blinded by the terrible 7 years leading into him...

My judgement will be on Mullen next year. If he doesn't go 8-4. I will be with the HUD crowd. But until then I hope Mullen can can keep some type of momentum going.

That's the thing though about canning Mullen now. Next year we'll get 8-4, that's great, it's on par with expectations. But with HUD I'm positive we'll get 10 just through better coaching, playcalling, and in game decision making.

Without getting into the keep Mullen / fire Mullen debate, What that mother fricker from bleacher report wrote was a pile of shite. The article makes zero sense. If he wanted a sound argument, he could make one, but he didn't.

Also, I want Gregg Ellis to do this 100% of the time. We could lose the egg bowl, turn around and fire Mullen after the season is over, and I would still commend Ellis for calling out this dick face.

I agree. When I saw it was a BR article I immediately regretted my OP.

That guy has set back the Fire Mullen movement about a year, now we have to band together to defend our university against this jerkoff. He made no argument other than to say "Mullen needs to be fired, but he won't." Stupidass fricktard.

It was astounding. Pick anything you would like. Special Teams disasters, Offensive play calling, clock management, lack of emotion, shite say something. Instead he just looked like a dumb frick with an agenda.
